Grocery store dye tends to be quite pastel, and changes a lot every year.

You could by online from the Caning Store, here in Berkeley, or the Ukrainian Gift Store, somewhere in the midwest.

Yup, my sister still keep an urban farm.

Have you ever tried duck eggs?
They are larger & have thicker shells.
