On his Toes
...
Although Robb is able to walk in a fairly normal heel-to-toe manner when he's chest-deep in water, his motor neurons still aren't sending enough information to allow him to support his weight with the front part of his feet.
Because Robb supports his weight on his heels when he walks, he has completely lost the callouses on the pads of his feet.
Alas! His second career as a dancer with Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo will have to wait until his recovery has progressed further.

LIAM, on the other hand could join the group immediately. Here's a quote from his very first report card, which arrived in the mail yesterday:
"Liam has significantly reduced his walking on his toes - please continue to encourage him."
Maybe Robb can give him lessons in hell-first walking? As you know, I'm not the best model for this.

If I ever have to see Robb posing in a Ballerina outfit again, it will be too soon.
Lately I am doing a lot of lifting of things and dropping of things, ocassionally onto my toes. I now have too very large black toenails. I was glad that my toenails didn't fall off for Christmas, I guess I got what I wanted for the holidays!
It got up to 70 degrees here last week, and today we got snow. Are you guys still wet out in California?
