Chicken Weirdness

...

Has everyone seen this? I don't know of my brain has been irreparably addled by my current miserable headcold, but at the moment, I find this about the funniest thing imaginable.

Those sultry hens and their expressive shoulders....

And for those of you who cannot quite imagine the mess that four molting hens make in a small urban back yard, here's a little snapshot.  Our entire yard looks like the site of a Pigeon Massacre.  I have no idea how we're going to clean this up.

Good idea! I think I'm the only person in my neighborhood who *doesn't* own one of those. Even if it didn't work, it could be hilarious. Like a downy snow-globe...

You could use a shop vac. held low enough to get the feathers but high enough to keep the heavier stuff on the ground.
Don't Panic!

I would opt for a leaf blower on an incredibly windy day.

Would the nesting animals such as squirrels want them?

I love the idea that YOUR leaf-blowing activity would blow feathers rather than leaves. Oh, those kooky, artist neighbors of our are at it again. ;)
