Feeling Cooped Up?

...

Robb has spent quite a lot of time designing a chicken coop for our back yard. On Saturday, we started putting it together.

We're hoping to build the whole thing out of re-claimed lumber. Most of what we're using is one hundred and six year old redwood, left over from our nightmare siding project.

The local building inspectors are very strict.

Nothing escapes their notice.

Here's what we got done on our first day of assembly.

Not a bad beginning but having those on-site inspectors must be tough.

Very cool! Not bad for one day's work! Smog is looking fantastic! Who knew that little broken down kitten could look so great!

Looks like you and Rob have two fine inspectors!!!!! Where were their co-inspectors that day? Always fun to read about what you and Rob and the cats are up to!

The Feral Boys were probably under the laundry room, comparing chicken recipes.
