Letterboxing

...

There's a huge, national letterboxing event going on this weekend which, sadly, Robb and I aren't able to attend. The travel and camping are more than we can handle, right now.

It would have been so nice to have hung out with our friends, and met some of the people we only know online.

Oh well. We're there in spirit, anyway.

Last night when I was thinking about ME not being there I figured out that there are at least 22,754 AQ members who, like us, are not at the event! So, we're in good company :o) LOL

Personally, I'm glad the L&B event has finally started, so they can all stop posting on the boards about how excited they are to be going and what they're packing and how many hours are left! I've been feeling very sad about not going, too. :(

Do you want to hear about all the fun they are having nightboxing right now???

Hey, I know that stamp! It's #31 in my logbook :) I guess the ball and chain of having a couple of kids in school came in handy on this one. A big letterboxing event sounds great, but *totally* out of the question at this time of year!

Lisa, You two were at L & B in more than just spirit. Your letterbox was one of the "MUST FINDS" of the event. We were thrilled to see it for the second time: Thank you for sharing your talents once again with the letterboxing community.

I was disappointed that I wouldn't be able to meet the two of you of course, but I thought of you while we were there! And the stamp that you sent was gorgeous (of course)! You were definitely there in spirit! :)

I couldn't go either. It was during the school year. If it was just a couple of weeks before, I probably could have talked myself into spending the cash, but I can't take two days off of work for a trip when the school year just started!

There will be other gathers. :)
