The Light in the Piazza...

Our friend Sten is on town, working on the new tour of The Light in the Piazza, and he called us up and offered us a set of four tickets to the show. This was a wonderful activity for Robb's parent's last night in California. We met up with Sten and Rebecca and Rebecca's parents and had a delightful dinner, and then proceded to the spectacular Orpheum Theater.

...and the Earthquake in the Theater

Halfway through the first act, I suddenly felt a strange anxious sensation, and then it seemed as if my seat had been pushed around in a sort of oval rotation. We were having an earthquake. The entire audience was a-twitter for a few moments, but the actors never broke their stride.

No damage was reported as a result of this 4.4 magnitude quake.

Didn't the Northeast have a small (2.7 or something) earthquake a couple of years ago?????? I'm not sure we're safe here in the northeast either!
