Still Shedding...

Okay, so this has nothing in particular to do with a certain theater artist's recovery from a spinal cord injury, but it is so amusing/appalling that it is worth sharing.

You thought the photo of our kitty Niobe's shedding was a one-time thing? You were mistaken. This is three days after the previous brushing.

(I will admit to having created a wee bald spot between Niobe's shoulder blades. She loves to be brushed, and apparently she and I don't know when to stop.)

You know... with a little imagination, that hairball looks sorta like the AQ chick! Maybe you should feed it?

Goodness, we really don't want to be nurturing those hairballs! They might evolve into higher life forms and really take over our apartment!

Fester, while 27 lbs of cat, is a short haired type so only produces about half to one third of that size hairball -- he, however, likes to try to eat it after he has been bushed.

Really, why do cats do these things?

I think you could let the fur be used for an albino nest, eh? I found bird nests here torn out of the trees lately, an all white nest would probably be a good way to conceal the eggs, I am thinking.

The fur would be good if used as stuffing for a quilt as well as pillows.

Those dustballs look like the lovable, breeding tribbles (I think that's what they were called)on Star Trek--
Anybody out there remember those???
