I think it's the weather- we're going into false hibernation or something. I don't mind as long as you don't mind me doing the same thing!
Oh, dear. I completely understand, Lisa. Maybe the energy of this hot, hot August is somehow corresponding to the energy of mid-January, when all we want to do is hide under a blanket with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate. This is why I'm supposed to be taking the "August Break", with only a pic and a quote, for the rest of the month. (Bar two exceptions, like yesterday's blog-birthday party, when I'll just have to post b/c of timing...)
Do you have very little energy cause the cat is still up the chimney yowling it's brains out? Here we are drained cause the weather is trying to kill us.Thank god the rain came.Annalisa

Lisa's been coming down with a cold for days. It finally hit today.Sorry to hear about the weather you guys are dealing with. The climate here is not trying to kill us... unless it's trying to bore us to death. Summer goes like this: "Oh, look, it's cloudy this morning and at one o'clock the sun will come out and it will be 68°F and it will happen again tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow until it starts raining again." This is not a complaint, I'm just musing. I've lived in the Bay Area a while now and still can't shake the belief that weather is supposed to be varied and unpredictable.
