Family

...

Robb's parents arrive today for a ten day visit. I can only imagine how pleased they will be with how well Robb is doing. The last time they saw each other, Robb was still wearing a full-torso immobilizing brace, wasn't driving, and was quite fragile.

So much has improved since then!

Glad to hear they are out there for a visit, and hope they have a great trip. May I suggest you guys all rent bikes and go out for a spin. Seeing firsthand how well you guys do mobility-wise will help put their minds at considerable ease, I bet.

What a nice time for a family visit. Hope you enjoy the time together.

Where did you get/take that awesome Moose picture?

Now that photo definitely defines family to me...loving each other no matter how different you may be. I know this season brings up lots of family angst and tension...may we all take a lesson from our furry friends!

Oh Lisa,
Robb's parents must be so grateful to you for all the loving support you give to Robb. Believe me, I know from working in the biz how rare it is to find a spouse that can be supportive, patient and loving without coddling, insulting or actually hindering an injured person's recovery. You hold Robb as able and that is truly a rare gift. How wonderful for them to be able to come to your home at this special time of year to show you their love. You are one of the best people on this planet - lucky them!

The two of you pack more quality of life in a week than most people do in a year! You both are an inspiration to the rest of us. I mean that both individually and collectively. Have a Merry Christmas and a great holiday season.

Wow, what a shot!

I hope you all have a good time together, and isn't it great to be showing them such good news?

Y'all have to know that I didn't take this photo. The Bay Area has lots of nature, but last time I looked, we didn't have any Kissy Moose.
