One Stitch Follows Another

It's been a while since I've posted to the blog. I had gotten myself into the stupid mindset of thinking that I had to write something truly momentous, and so of course, I wrote nothing at all.

I'm going to cut myself some slack, and not worry so much about perfection. I'm going to give myself permission to use unedited cellphone photos, because I'd gotten a bit hung-up on only posting "real" photographs.

What is it they say?

Le mieux est l'ennemi du bien.

We're glad that you are blogging once again. It doesn't have to be a momentous topic. Speaking for myself- and probably others- I am more interested in your day-to-day activities that are so different from mine. I don't keep bees, or spin wool, or design stage scenery.

I especially enjoy reading about your garden activities in the middle of winter when we in the Midwest are buried under snow and ice. -Rose
Welcome back to blogging! There was a movement called Small is Beautiful in the blogging world. I can't find hide nor hair of it now because something else has taken that phrase up. But, basically, it was a group of bloggers who didn't post HUGE things, just something from a day. Blogs are Web logs, so post whatever moves you! You must have dozens of readers who just like to read here.... Have a Happy Week!

From where I and my needles sit, our mouths drop open at the beauty of your knitting, and with such tiny needles, too. I'm nowhere near your level, and never will be, since I have a peculiar need to actually be able to see the stitches as I make them.

And then there's the staging and framing of your lovely photography.

You work is gorgeous, and this photo is epic.

You and Robb are simply awe-inspiring people, and I love to read about what you've been up to, even if it's just tales of the garden, the cats, and the knitting.

Any post is a good post! Especially if it's a blurry pic of Smaug :) Hope you two are doing well.
