My sister has checked in, she and her husband and their friends are fine, and the car wasn't even damaged by the falling limbs outside! The boats I used to work on in Baltimore are likewise fine and the crews are safe.

Fine near DC! We've been off school for two days, and had a lot of rain & windy weather, but most of my friends' power also stayed on. We'll be back to normal tomorrow, I think.

No problems in the Capital District of NY that I know of, though one friend near Cobleskill had a big tree come down on her driveway and couldn't get past it. My mother, near NYC, lost power Monday afternoon overnight. We got off easy in my area this time around.

We lost power for about 30 hours. Otherwise we are ok. Sump hole stayed dry as a bone, surprisingly. Our friend's parent's house on the shore lost both of it's sea walls but the house seems fine. (It was in Better Homes and Gardens two years ago) I think the beach we usually go to is gone.
Still waiting to hear if Rosco is up and running to see if I can order paint.
