Thanks, Feral Cats!

...

It was very thoughtful of you to leave the lower half of this gigantic rat (and the accompanying pile of viscera) in the backyard.

they are thinking that you cannot hunt, and therefore need to learn this basic skill:D

they do the same things when they teach their kittens how to hunt. the mother start by bringing home a dead animal that the kittens can play with. when the kittens have mastered that, she will bring home live food that they can play with and eventually kill:)

so they have decided that you are kittens in need of some basic training:D
The only thing I can say to that is EWWWWWWWWWWW!

I'm guessing you said something similar when you found it.

Mmmm, leftovers! That tail is quite fantastic.

That's an all-too-familiar (and welcome) sight around here, although not necessarily when I see it on the hall carpet or in the bath tub. I guess that's what I get for leaving the doors open. My cat has more than earned his nickname "the rodenator".

I suppose it's a nice gift, but honestly it's kinda ugly!

hahahaha, that's so ew and so awesome at the same time! My cat, Chops, would bring huge grasshoppers home, gulp down the head and body, then leave the wings and shoulders laying around in a sticky clump.

Thanks for posting a pic of the rat rear. What a great way to start my Friday morning :-)
