The Daily Cute

...

This is the sight which greets me each and every morning in our back yard lately. Our boys eat their breakfast and go back to bed.

Lisa calls it The Post-Prandial Nap.

To me, it's The Daily Cute.

Ok, all together now... One, two, three: AWWWWW!
Absolutely adorable. I love how they just look like a big pile of soft.

AWWWWW!

The way they are curled around each other reminds of an Esher painting . . . a soft, fluffy, purring painting!

*sigh* I miss having a kitty.

Awwww...who needs a pillow, when you have a friend? Too cute!

So I guess the cats have decided to put up with you guys, eh? They look happy and content. Guess you won them over! I'm curious how they got up your chimney in the first place?

I'm so jealous, I think I'll just start leaving food out to try and attract some strays to us! I saw two this morning when I saw my cat staring defensively out the window, but hadn't seen any before. And you know! - they were nowhere near as cute as yours!

Cardigan, sleeves, linguine - Love the names btw.

CrescentJoy -- there are definitely some sweet kitties roaming the 'hood.

I have this dumb idea that if I name cats, I have to take care of them. So I assign them attributes, rather than names. Doesn't really work, and I end up with a herd of oddly named cats.

My cat's name is "the Stig" because I couldn't think of a more feminine name. I typically call her "Stiggy" or "Coony" cuz she's my little raccoon.

You're Calla Lilies look wonderful. I used to think they were kind of ugly but yours sure aren't. Wish I could offer you something - I'll have to offer some plants once my little seedlings get a bit bigger. Unless you want agapanthus! ...But I kinda doubt it hehe

They look very sweet and happy together, and with your help should be able to spend a good many years that way. Thanks for your comment on the Queen of Cat Town - looking at several pictures I have of those ferals I can see their ears are clipped. I was concerned that the already stressed wildlife in the area would have to live with a pack of feral cats, but apparently not so.

We name all our cats (10 so far) after family members, so it becomes impossible to give them away. "What ! You cant give away Albert! He's named after my dad!" And so it goes... at least they are barn cats and we are not tripping all over them in the house! I admit it is nice to hear the family names again in the house!

My wish to everyone is to have a buddy the way these two kitties are buddies.
