Head Aches

...

I got an over-the-telephone diagnosis of migraine, and an appointment for a follow up with the neurologist. So, my freaky head sensations are merely unpleasant, and not dire.

Every time we clear off a shelf or a drawer, the cat leaps in to occupy the empty space. If either Robb or I sit down for a second, Linguine jumps up on our chests and starts kneading biscuits.

I'm trying to stay calm about this move, but I worry that we're no going to be ready for the movers.

Hey there, Lisa- if you forget and leave anything behind at your old place, you can just blame it on the hole in your head, right?

And you wonder why you have a headache? Your energy in getting all this work done has exhausted me just reading about it!

Mercury is retrograde so schedules might be off a bit with the movers as well as other things. Try not to sweat it.

The more I look at those illustrations, the more I think that lady is drinking scotch.

I can totally relate with moving! We got a bid on our condo, and the buyer wanted to close in 1 1/2 weeks! We only had eight days to hire a mover, pack our stuff, and have them move us to our new house. Thankfully, we had our new house, because if we didn't, we would have had to stay in an apartment with our stuff in storage. Or worse yet, with my PARENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I SO want some of that Miles Nervine - lol!!

Migraines suck. I definitely wouldn't use the word "merely" to describe them at all. But I know what you mean, it could be worse. If you don't have heart disease in your immediate family, they should be able to give you imitrex (4 hours) or Frova (24 hours) and call it a day. Take those with an anti-inflammatory (I have to or they don't work, it's weird), and you'll be all set. They might knock you out for a bit while they kick in but they've saved my life!
