It's the little things
...
I'm about to be completely drowned with work, and the house buying remains stalled. When I'm not coming home from work and immediately falling asleep on the couch, I'm trying to keep my eye on life's hidden pleasures. I'm trying not to get bogged down with all the things that aren't settled in my life.
So, I'll enjoy the uncanny robin's egg blue color of this fuzzy bee.
And the eyes of this Common Buckeye butterfly. I hope you like these, too. (If anyone can identify the bee, I would love to know what it is.)

Either way, if you sent them the image, the community is great it identifying interesting buggies. And they're always excited about new pictures to share.

Cool, huh?
On the topic of little things, would you guys hurry up and sacrifice something to a powerful diety somewhere so you get your new house already? I've got 3 crazed "little things" in the form of kittens who have now learned how to jump and run and hop. They are tearing my house up. Get your new place already so I can pass one of these cuties on to you-- so YOUR house gets it's own personalized, four-pawed, furry wrecking crew already!
They now have found how to get onto a shelf. God help me. Stuff lies everywhere, and I believe they are scaring my resident house ghost. That would be a first.
Gary never had a cat or kittens before. He was all into giving them away when they got older, but now we have bonded with the little beauties and find it hard to give them away. Lets hope the barn has enough mice to feed them all!
By the way, on the topic of bugs, does anyone know how to get rid of big fat bright orange potato larvae/bugs? My dad used to spray DDT on them, but I cant do that now!
