Brainy

...

Today, I resume the tests that will attempt to ascertain the cause of that strange stroke-like event I experienced prior to my father's funeral.

Wish me luck. Wish my brain luck.

I can't seem to adjust to the time zone that I'm in. I suppose that flying for fifteen hours, through nine time zones after a week of not being able to sleep isn't so easy to bounce back from.

I keep falling asleep, with all my clothes on, around 8pm.

It sounds like a possible time change/jet lag/possibly former illness/not enough kitty time- type event going on upstairs. It's possible the doctors may find early symptoms of something going on, and you are very smart to get it all checked out.

In case the doctors scan you and find out you have a second brain growing up there in your noggin, please let me borrow some of that extra brain power on those days I just dont seem to have even ONE brain!

If the doctor's find something weird up there, encourage them to poke it with a stick and see what happens. That's generally the extent of medical coverage most Americans have today, so take full advantage of your insurance in taking care of your health.

Good luck at your tests. I hope all things turn out ok!

As for not adjusting to the time change.... I'm asleep in my clothes at 8 p.m. every night, so that's nothing new around here ;-)... and I can't blame it on a trip either!

Hugs!

I'm not a doctor, but from your blog I'm guessing that it's all just too much on your plate lately! I prescribe time on the couch with a kitty and a good book followed by sunny afternoons photographing nature.
