I'm Off.
...
This fall has been incredibly hectic. This week has been incredibly hectic. Today has been incredibly hectic.
We're opening two shows at the theater, one right on top of another. This doubled-up schedule has been brutal.
And now that I've gotten free of my obligations, I'm going to France with my sister to spend some time with my dad and stepmother. Alas, Robb is still unable to do any long-distance traveling, so he will be staying home. If you have some spare time, give him a call. He would probably love someone to hang out with.
Here, for your picture junkies are some photos from the trip we took to visit my dad a few years back.
The famous poppies of France. I think every single wheat field I've ever seen in France is filled with blooming poppies. It's so insanely beautiful (and difficult to photograph).
A typical mountain village. When I look at these houses jumbled up on top of each other, I see the roots of Cubism.
Spices at a local farmers' market.
Yes, it really is as beautiful and France-like as you can imagine!
