Have fun at the festival- Gary and I drive to Brooklyn to visit his mum and bring her back with usto PA for a weeks visit.
I didn't know your sis lived in Brooklyn, glad to hear she has chickens, we want some as well, but it may take a year (sigh) still got lots to do around here. I have 3 gardens now with an edible bounty of broccoli lettuce zucchini cucumbers onions and lots and lots of weeds. In the fall more things will be ready to eat. I also grew some heritage corn, my neighbors are amazed I got seeds for blue indian popcorn. That should be fun. Also got pumpkins and winter squash. Make I can sew a big pumpkin to be a kite one year. Next year I want to grow broom corn and make my own brooms.
