Our beloved Welsh Terrier (AKA Terror) passed away Aug 1, so I really can sympathize with your sorrow. They really are members of the family. So sorry. Buggylou

Oh, dear. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of fuzziness. Perhaps he's hanging out with my Squid and Austin kitties.

Lisa and Robb...
My heart goes out to you... been there just a couple of weeks ago when a beloved tuxedo kitty... probably 18 or 19 years old (but lived with us for 13 years) died. Sigh... how hard it is to say goodbye to such a long term friend! I feel your pain!
I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you.

I am so sorry about your loss! He's definitely playing with my kitties now: Sebastian, Abbott, Franklin, Buzzy, Cheer and Mittens. Wish I could send up plenty of Pounce cat treats and catnip......

If you send your kitty to us we can bury him in back of the barn on the slight hill under the grapevines and facing the fields. He can hang out with our dead kitty gang that dates back to 1972 (stupid highway kills all our cats). There are birds and walnuts and hickory nuts for cat ghosts to pounce on. Its a nice place to spend the afterlife, I actually have a big rock back there I sandblasted with the words "Bury me here".
Think of a good place to bury your friend, hopefully a place you can visit over and over. We had dug up our dead cat in Michigan and brought her here to PA. to bury. It may seem excessive, but our cat Siebel was our close friend, as your was to you. The ancient Egyptians said cats only have souls when they live with humans, and I believe it's true. Our sympathies to the both of you.
I am SO sorry for your loss. It's so hard losing a pet, and so many employers don't understand and won't give you time off for grieving. I think you should get AT LEAST a day, just as with a family member. I feel closer to my cats than most of my family members anyway! -gollygee
