You will be happ...Those tomato cages are fabulous! You will be happy you made them so big- trust me- tomatoes love fresh dirt- and I made some in Michigan with really big tree branches- the bamboo should be strong enough to support the monster tomatoes you will be getting this year! Plant lettuce and radishes in between your little tomato plants- the toms will eventually shade the lettuce and keep it from wilting, and your radishes will be ready to pull when the toms get bigger as well.
