Argonautika

...

Argonautika, the show that I had been working on for so long opened last night. It was written and directed by Mary Zimmerman, and once again, she did not disappoint.

At the end, when the stories of the different characters were being wrapped up, I started to weep. (I had always empathized with Medea, but never knew that there were myths that gave her a happy ending, married to Achilles in the Underworld)

Plink. Plink. Plink.

The tears dripped down on to my hands.

The lights went down, we all applauded.

Clapping my wet hands sprayed salty water all over my face.

Feels great when a show comes together and finally takes off. Sometimes I miss doing shows, maybe I should see what I can find to help out on.

I guess I need to brush up on my mythology.

BTW,the pic at the top is going to be a great stamp. How long do you think it will take you to carve it?
